Perambulating in Perth

I had a wonderfully fun weekend in Perth, where I did a lot of perambulating. (But you could probably guess that from the title of this post.)

A friend met me at the train station on Saturday, and then we made our way to St John’s Kirk before heading out for a nice meal. Then on Sunday, we wandered along the “William Souter Walk”.

I’d tell you more about it, but I’m completely exhausted. So I figured I’d just show you photos instead. Then, if you want to know more, you can click the links above. (Yes, I know how lazy that is!)

As for my continued poor blogging habits, I promise to get better! I just need to decide what to write about!

  1. Of course I love the boar’s head. And the fox, and all the headstones. I just love old headstones. I think it makes me think of our ancestors and those who came before, and that the memory of the dead will always be here, written in stone.

    1. I thought you might like the boar’s head. I sent that to Uncle Fred as a postcard because I figured he’d like it, too!

My friend seemed a bit perplexed as to why I wanted a photo of it, and when I explained, I was questioned about if others would get it.

Um, YES! We Eberles are well-aware that we’re total boars! (But not bores!)

  2. Very nice photos. Love the wild boar and everything else! That bridge is quite nice. I’ll be posting some nice photos of my own over on FB in the next few days. We hit a couple cemeteries and saw lots of eagle sculptures and a few dams, too. And a river that flowed north into Canada.
