Being positive

I’m in full-on “fake it ’til you make it” mode these days. Or, at least, I’m trying to be. So today’s bit of inspiration from my way-awesome “Be Good to Yourself” calendar seemed fitting.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

  1. i am so on board with this one!
on a side note – positivity begets positivity and builds new neural routes in the old grey matter. boring but true and annoyingly scientific (and hard work)

    1. It really does help to pretend to be positive! The last year I’ve worked really hard to “look” happy and upbeat even when I’m not. It’s less painful that way. And I think it has helped/will help with my long-term goal of being happy. Sort of like “Joy Training Wheels” (stabilizers) if you will.
But I like the idea of scientific evidence to show I’m doing the right thing!
