Dear Stress and Worry

Dear Stress and Worry:

I would like to tell you how very unhappy and miserable you make me.

You tell me the world is full of doom and gloom. You tell me there is no laughter. You tell me there is no joy.

I would like to tell you that your negative ways hurt my spirit and damage my self-esteem.

So during our next encounter, when I find myself listening to your lies and I am becoming sadder and sadder, I am going to stand up to you.

I am going to be strong. I am going to tell you you’re wrong. And I am going to banish you.
